At around 7 AM on June 3, police in Fukuoka City began receiving reports of monkey sightings beginning from Higashi-ku, Ohori Park, Hakata Station area, and at around 10 AM in Tenjin. Officials believe it is a single monkey and not a group of monkeys. The public is advised to keep their distance as monkeys may become aggressive if provoked. Source: NHK / RKB
