Four ramen shops in Fukuoka Prefecture took the initiative to cheer up local children amidst ongoing school closures. Koshiro Ramen (Ohashi, Fukuoka City), Hakata Ramen-ya Itto (Dazaifu City), Taiko Raneb (Chikushino City), and Nakamura (Kurume City) began serving ramen for high schools students and under for children’s portions for just ¥200. Local noodle provider, Hakata Seimen Sho, also supports the project by offering 1,200 free portions of its noodles to those restaurants. The kids’ ramen, named “Seishun Ramen,” will be served after 1 pm daily until the end of March. Source: Hakata Seimensho 2020-03-17
