Multilingual LINE-based Chat Support for ¥100,000 Handout Process Coming Soon

Fukuoka City has introduced a Line-based chat system to support residents with questions about the national ¥100,000 handout program. The service aims to promote a smoother application process by providing information such as required documents. Other useful information including how to apply in case the head of the house is temporarily away, or in case the residential address is different from the one stated in the residential certificate, is provided. The city plans to add five different languages (English, Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Nepal) to the system soon. Source and photo: Nikkei
