Munakata Resident Becomes Fukuoka’s Fifth COVID-19 Case

On March 19, Fukuoka Prefecture revealed that a female in her thirties and a resident Munakata City became infected with COVID-19. Reportedly she visited Italy this month and came back to Japan on March 16 via Tokyo International Airport (Haneda). One of her acquaintances who took the same airplane to Japan also became infected. The woman’s parents will be tested on March 20. This case brings the number of confirmed COVID-19 infections in Fukuoka Prefecture to five. Source: NHK
