The Munakata roadside station (Michi no Eki) is selling traditional craft kits to create items of Hakata ori textile, kumiko lattice woodwork, and more. Workshop events have been canceled at the roadside station due to the spread of the new coronavirus. The facility decided to sell those unique craft kits online to support enjoyable stay-home times. Hakata ori Suzu Bako (tiny boxes) kit (¥2,300), kimoko drink coasters kit (¥4,000) are available at the official online shop, and furusato taxation websites. Sources: Mainichi / Munakata Michinoeki
