Shintencho Muraokaya Gallery will close at the end of May. The art gallery was opened by Saga Prefecture-based confectionery, Muraokaya, in 1972. It was one of the first galleries to have opened inside the arcade and deepened the connection between local shoppers and art for almost half a century.
