On July 8, Fukuoka City announced the inclusion of Nakasu-based bar workers to its priority group for the new coronavirus vaccination. Aiming to prevent the virus spread involving visitors from outer regions, the city encourages some two thousand restaurants with customer services and bars to vaccinate their staff from this month. A special inoculation venue will open in the region to give doses to up to 300 persons daily. (7/13~15, 7/20, 7/21, 8/3~5, 8/11, 8/12. *Fukuoka-residing workers are eligible for the program.)
