Fukuoka Prefecture has announced new naming rights sponsors for two local facilities following a recent solicitation. The facility known as “Momochi Palace” in Sawara Ward, Fukuoka City, will be renamed “Sawarapia” starting September, sponsored by the real estate company Sawarise from Nishi Ward. Additionally, Kasuga City’s “Okuzen Real Estate” has acquired the naming rights for the baseball field, tennis courts, and sports ground in Kasuga Park.
These are the only two facilities that received bids after the prefecture sought naming rights for four facilities starting in March. The contract for these naming rights will last until March 2027. Fukuoka Prefecture plans to use the annual 7.2 million yen from the “Sawalapia” naming rights fee to update equipment such as pianos and chairs. Source: Fukuoka Prefecture
