The National Personnel Authority will add Kyushu University and three other universities to its schedule for special seminars recruiting students to work in the national bureaucracy. Called the “Kasumgaseki Special Lectures”, the seminars will now be held at Kyushu University, Hokkaido University, Tohoku University, and Nagoya University in addition to the regular seminars held at Tokyo University, Kyoto University, and Hitotsubashi University. The National Personnel Authority said, “There are talented people ‘sleeping’ in the regional areas. We want to eliminate the information gaps and increase the opportunities to elicit interest.”
