There’s a new nightspot in Fukuoka, and it’s not on Oyafuko-dori or Nishi-dori but over in Nakasu (near the main intersection). We stopped by Otafuku for its opening on March 20. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. It’s part bar and part club, so ideal for just hanging out and chatting over drinks with the DJ spinning – or later, depending on the vibe – tables are cleared away for dancing. Foreigners welcome!
