A new cultural center will open in the Kita-tenjin area of Fukuoka City in 2024. The city announced on January 28 that it had appointed Nippon Kanzai Co., Ltd. and its partner companies as joint developers for Fukuoka Civic Hall and the neighboring Suzaki Park area. The Civic Hall will be rebuilt to a new facility with a large hall equipped with approximately 2,000 seats, while the park area will be refurbished as a green square and a restaurant.
