A new commercial facility called Mark Is Fukuoka Momochi will open on a plot of land adjacent to the Fukuoka Yahuoku! Dome. Mitsubishi Estate is in charge of development, which is taking place on former site of the Hawks Town Mall. The facility will feature 163 stores and open for business on November 21. This will be the third Mark Is facility to open in Japan, following the establishment of similar facility in Shizuoka and Yokohama. A total of 44 tenants are said to be opening stores in Fukuoka Prefecture for the first time. Well-established brands such as Uniqlo and Nitori will also be present in the grounds alongside a United Cinema movie theater complex and a Zepp concert hall. The premises will include a parking lot that can fit 1,300 vehicles and a decking area that connects to the dome.
