New Daily and Direct Flights Between Daegu and Fukuoka

Air Busan, a low-cost Korean carrier, announced a new route between Kitakyushu and Daegu. Starting on June 5, their Airbus aircraft with a capacity of 195 passengers will fly between Kitakyushu and Daegu in the mornings on a daily basis. In recent years, Fukuoka Prefecture and Kitakyushu City worked on securing an airline for the route as Fukuoka Airport has reached full capacity. The prefecture expects the new flight will further accelerate inbound tourism in Fukuoka. This will be the fifth route connecting Kitakyushu Airport to airports in Korea.
