“Kokura Dance Station,” a free, permanent dance space, opened on November 23 at JR Kokura Station’s Shinkansen entrance. Created by Kitakyushu City, JR West, and partners to support youth activities, the facility aims to encourage local engagement and provide a safe practice area. The opening ceremony featured performances by Ayumi, a member of Japan’s Paris Olympic breaking team, along with local dancers. Visitors welcomed the central location and accessibility for children. The space is open daily from 6 a.m. to midnight. Source: JR West / KBC
