The production of Neji Choco, a unique souvenir of Kitakyushu City, will be bolstered by the opening of a new factory. The pieces of chocolate, shaped like nuts and bolts (that actually fit together,) have become a big hit amongst international tourists since its debut in 2015. To meet the increasing demand, the manufacturer, OA Center Co. Ltd., decided to triple its production capacity to 30,000 pieces per day by introducing an automated production line. The company is also preparing to export the confectionery beginning in the spring of 2020. Source: Yahoo News 01/19/2020
