Fukuoka City Subway opened a new entrance gate at Tojinmachi Station to ease congestion during events at Mizuho PayPay Dome, where daily traffic can reach nearly twice the normal average. The Transportation Bureau began operating the gate on November 20 near Exit 1, commonly used by dome visitors. The gate is for entry only and supports IC and credit card payments. The station has long faced heavy surges during baseball games and other large events, leading the bureau to expand access.
