Kyushu’s largest indoor theme park opened in Riverwalk Kitakyushu on June 29. The Ribachika Kodomo Okoku (River-Chika Children’s Kingdom) Giant Stadium is located in the basement floor of the large-scale Kokura-based commercial complex. The new amusement facility revolves around the theme of time travel and consists of three main areas known as Fuwafuwa (Fluffy) Park, Ninja Park, and Dinosaur Cafe. The management company expects the theme park to attract domestic and international visitors. They plan to work with local authorities and businesses to help revitalize the region.
