A new shopping mall ‘Hakozaki Mall’, will be built near Hakozaki-gu Shrine, Higashi-ku. The two story mall has announced Max Value supermarket, Drug Eleven and the clothing store, Shimamura, will be some of the tenants. Construction is slated to begin at the end of this year, with plans to open the mall in July 2013. The site of the mall was previously occupied by a furniture store.
