Fukuoka City’s double-decker open-top bus will offer a special course in the month of August only: “Uminaka & Shikanoshima Island Enjoyment Tour.” The tour will run through Uminonakamichi Seaside Park and Shikanoshima Island. Thanks to the height of the bus, passengers can see the sea from angles and distances not ordinarily possible. The tour takes about 1.5 hours and includes a stop at a photo spot with a beautiful view of the sea and a visit to Shikaumi shrine, a popular power spot.
