New Toto Factory to Open in Thailand

Toto Ltd. announced on April 24 that they will establish a new washlet (electric toilet seat with a water spray function) factory in Thailand. The Kitakyushu-based company will invest approximately ¥3.7 billion into the facility, which will go into full-scale operation in April 2020. The factory will occupy a 49,000 square meter plot of land at the Hemaraj Industrial Park in Saraburi Province and produce 450,000 toilet seats a year. Source: Nikkei Shimbun, 4/25/2018
