11/22 “ii fufu no hi” (Good Couple Day) full-size mascots of popular characters Sazae-san and Masuo-san welcomed newlyweds at Sawara Ward Office and posed for photos with them. This is part of a campaign run since May 2013 by Sawara Ward Office called “Happy Wedding Project”, in which newlyweds registering their marriage at the office receive a plastic pocket-sized file with Sazae-san illustration and can take photos with Sazae-san and Masuo-san after their forms are submitted.
