Nintendo Fukuoka Opens At AMU Plaza Hakata

Nintendo opened its first Kyushu location on November 14 at AMU Plaza Hakata, drawing about 200 people before the doors opened. At 1,000 square meters and offering roughly 2,500 items, it is one of the company’s largest retail spaces in Japan. The store features merchandise from major titles including Super Mario, Splatoon, and Animal Crossing, along with family-focused products and exclusive goods. It is Nintendo’s fourth domestic store after Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto, and marks a significant expansion of its direct-to-consumer presence in western Japan. Early turnout suggested strong regional demand for character goods and limited items. Source: Nintendo Store official X / RKB
