Nishi-Nippon City Bank began providing a new service to facilitate the renting office spaces. With revised civil codes taking effect in April 2020, procedures for renting office space for business owners will get increasingly complicated, especially with regards to securing a guarantor. To minimize the hurdles, the company has partnered with Japan Corporate Property Guarantee and launched “Rakutoku,” a service that can alter the role of the guarantor in case the tenant defaults on payment of rent.
