The Nishi-Nippon City Bank has launched the first securities subsidiary of a Kyushu regional bank, in a 60-40 partnership with Tokai Tokyo Financial Holdings. Called the Nishi-Nippon City Tokai Tokyo Securities Co., the subsidiary is located in Fukuoka City. The new company has branches in Fukuoka City’s Tenjin district and Kitakyushu, and intends to serve primarily individual customers.
