Nishi-Nippon City Bank announced on February 26 that it will open the NCB Hall cultural facility in early June inside its new headquarters building under construction in front of JR Hakata Station in Fukuoka. Located on the second basement floor and directly connected to the station via an underground passage, the venue will seat up to about 400 people. The hall features high acoustic performance using Kyushu-sourced wood and includes a permanently installed Steinway grand piano. A movable stage will allow use for concerts, traditional performing arts, and business seminars. Three free public performances featuring artists with ties to Kyushu will be held between May 17 and 31 ahead of the opening. Source: Nishinippon City Bank
