Nishi-Nippon City Bank to Partner with Sagawa and Synabiz

Nishi-Nippon City Bank announced plans to partner with Sagawa Express and SynaBiz for a new initiative. The venture will involve the resale of food and seasonal products that Nishi-Nippon City’s business clients have deemed as surplus stock. Nishi-Nippon will introduce their corporate clients to the online mail-order site SynaBiz, who will then sell the products that are approaching the end of their shelf-life at discounted prices. Sagawa will be responsible for the delivery and collection of the goods. A proportion of the sales will be donated to social enterprises and charities, such as the Red Cross. The aim is to help companies reduce the cost of managing and disposing of inventory without damaging their brand image. The project will also help ensure that usable items do not go to waste.
