On Nov. 27, Nishinippon Railroad Co. (“Nishitetsu”) will begin accepting applications from entrepreneurs and venture companies for the Nishitetsu Open Innovation Contest. With the City’s designation as a special zone for job creation, the number of entrepreneurs is on the rise. With this contest, Nishitetsu aims to marry the outstanding ideas of these entrepreneurs with the resources of the Nishitetsu Group to generate open innovation and contribute to the company’s growth. The contest is open to startups that have been in operation for fewer than seven years, and the initial deadline for applications is 12/18.
