Nishitetsu has announced plans to renovate the Nakatani Service Office in Kokuraminami Ward, Kitakyushu into a transition hub for airport users. By 2020, it will open a new waiting room equipped with air conditioning and a flight information board. As Fukuoka Airport operates at almost full capacity, Nishitetsu sees a need to create better mobility between the two airports by providing smoother and more comfortable transportation between them.
