The Nishi-Nippon Railway Co. (Nishitetsu) announced it will launch a business for renovating older condominium buildings for resale. The company has been in the business of renovating single-unit dwellings since 2009, and it plans to combine the two businesses. They plan to focus on purchasing company housing and rental condominiums in central Fukuoka City for renovation and resale. In Kyushu, the Saibu Gas group is already working in this sector.
