Nishi-Nippon Railway (Nishitetsu) operates a daily round-trip night bus between Fukuoka City and Tokyo called the Hakata-go. Starting on December 30, this bus will stop in three places in Kitakyushu en route. The trip takes 14 hours and 20 minutes. An estimated 20,000 people used the bus in 2011.
