Nishitetsu announced a trial monthly pass for its reserved-seat N Liner train on Sep. 16. The service leaves Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station at 7:11 p.m. on weekdays. Passengers normally pay a 400 yen seat charge in addition to the fare for their journey. The 4,800 yen N Liner Tokutoku pass allows unlimited use for one month, matching the cost of 12 individual seat charges. Nishitetsu President Koichi Hayashida said the service already attracts repeat riders and that he hopes the pass will encourage more interest. Source: KBC News / Nishitetsu Railway
