Nishitetsu announced that the number of passengers using its sightseeing bus Tabito reached there million as of April 20. Since it began operation began in 2014, Tabito has provided direct access between Dazaifu City, JR Hakata Station and Fukuoka Airport. The route became especially popular amongst international tourists and the service expanded from the original 14 daily operations to 47 daily on weekdays and 82 on weekends. A ceremony to celebrate the achievements, as well as the fifth anniversary of the bus, will be held on May 31 at Nishitetsu Dazaifu Station. Source: Nishitetsu Group, 5/24/2019
