Rides on the Nozomi shinkansen will be free for children 11 and under for a limited time. From Nov. 24 ~ Dec. 19, the Nozomi (Hakata-Tokyo) operating companies will allow each IC-ticket passenger to travel with up to five children without additional fare. To take advantage of the campaign, users first need to book tickets for all members via ‘Express Yoyaku’ or ‘Smart EX’ before getting refunds for eligible children.
