A report by the Kyushu Economic Research Center revealed an increase of occupancy rates for accommodation facilities in Kyushu in June. The index for entire Kyushu rose by 9.7 (*compared to May) to 22.8. It was the largest increase amongst eleven other regions across Japan. While the index for Fukuoka Prefecture stood at 18.2 (+9.7), Nagasaki Prefecture marked 38.2 (+21.4) and topped the national ranking. The average for the entire country was 17.8.
