Office Vacancy Rate Up in Fukuoka

A report by the Tokyo-based real estate agency, Miki Shoji Co., Ltd., revealed an increasing rate of vacancies in office buildings in the central area of Fukuoka. As more companies downsize their offices in response to the introduction of teleworking, an average of 4.47% of offices (*330 square meters or larger) remain unused. The rate grew by 0.47% compared to that of March. Meanwhile, the average office rent in the region has seen a slight increase. Source: Miki Shoji Co.,ltd / NHK
