A lunch-subscription service developed by Oita-based startup, Ijigen Inc., is proving popular in Fukuoka City. The company launched ‘Always Lunch,’ a membership service to provide lunches at any of the registered restaurants in Fukuoka and Kyoto in October. For a monthly fee of ¥5,980, app users can enjoy lunch as many days as they like. Currently, about 30 restaurants inside Fukuoka City and 140 in other areas serve app users. On December 1, thirty-two restaurants in the Shibuya area of Tokyo were added, reflecting the growing popularity of the service. Source: Nikkei Shimbun 12/02/2019
