Oita’s local hot spring association launched its safety program, ‘Yufuin Anshin no Yado.’ It is the first initiative by a hotel association to qualify safety measures against the new coronavirus, criminal activities, and natural disasters. Regular inspections will be conducted every three months to ensure that Yufuin remains one of the safest onsen travel destinations during and after the pandemic.
