The Okinawa Shogaku High School boys’ baseball team trounced the squad from Seibo Gakuen High School in Saitama Prefecture 9-0 to win the 80th annual national high school invitational baseball tournament. It was the second time the Okinawa school’s team won the tournament. The first time was in 1999, when they swept both the spring and the summer tournament.
