The Kyushu Economic Federation submitted recommendations to Fukuoka Prefecture on June 16 aimed at promoting industries linked to the One Health concept, which connects human health, animal health, and environmental protection. Representatives of the federation’s Chikugo Regional Committee presented the proposal to Governor Seitaro Hattori at the prefectural office. The recommendations call for stronger cooperation among industry, government, and academic institutions to encourage new business creation and investment. Proposed measures include establishing a collaboration hub within the planned One Health Center in Miyama and creating an organization to coordinate activities with Fukuoka Prefecture and Kyushu University. The federation began discussing industrial applications of One Health earlier this year as development of the research facility progressed. Source: Nikkei / Kyushu Economic Federation
