Onojo City, Fukuoka, has broken the Guinness World Record for number of people sitting on a chair. The city event saw 1,318 locals from 11~80’s years old break the record in only one attempt. The event coincides with the 40th anniversary of Onojo becoming a city. Previously, the record was held since 2008 by a group in Singapore with 1,058 persons.
