A new seasonal attraction, the “Seaside Momochi Ice Skating Park,” opened on November 29 at the foot of Fukuoka Tower. The rink, measuring 27 meters in length and 17 meters in width, offers a 400 square-meter space for skating enthusiasts of all ages.
The rink is accompanied by a Christmas market and a dazzling 150,000-light illumination display. The opening day featured a lighting ceremony at 5:45 PM and a special performance by guest skaters. Organizers expect around 70,000 visitors during the rink’s operation, which runs until February 24, 2025, 11:00 AM–9:00 PM.
