Over 10,000 PCR Tested in Fukuoka Prefecture

As of yesterday, a total of 10,041 coronavirus tests have been conducted in Fukuoka Prefecture. The number of confirmed cases now stands at 650. On May 6, the prefecture announced one new case of COVID-19 involving a female nurse who works at Fukuoka Kinen Hospital, where she cared for COVID-19 infected patients. The woman reportedly tested negative when she was first tested after developing a fever. The prefecture is communicating with everyone who has been in close contact with her.
