On May 6, the prefecture announced one new case of COVID-19 involving a female nurse who works at Fukuoka Kinen Hospital, where she cared for COVID-19 infected patients. The woman reportedly tested negative when she was first tested after developing a fever. The prefecture is communicating with everyone who has been in close contact with her.
