The proportion of young people becoming infected with COVID-19 has been on the rise. According to Fukuoka Prefecture, 64% of cases in July involve people aged 30 and under. The percentage grew by some 10% compared to the preceding three months. The proportion of patients aged 64 and above remains at 6%, thanks to the regional vaccination program.
