A government survey disclosed that more than half of Kyushu companies would need to review and renew their business plans due to the impact of the new coronavirus pandemic. According to the results of a survey conducted by the Development Bank of Japan, 57.7% of Kyushu-based companies with over-¥100 billion capital replied that they would need to review business plans; including plans for ‘new products and services’ (60%,) ‘supply chains’ (17.9%,) and more. The bank analyzes that the majority of local businesses are suffering from a greater impact than the time of Lehman shock. Source: NHK
