Part of Main Highway to be Renamed for PR
From Tachibanaji, Hakata-ku to Juroku-cho, Nishi-ku, 16.2kms of Route 202 will be renamed ‘Heiseisotokan Dori’. The naming is a PR exercise for the city and the nation”s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. Officials chose the name from submissions with the hope that the road represents the Heisei Period, which started in 1989.
