Low-cost carrier (LCC) Peach Aviation has announced it will be operating flights between Kansai and Miyazaki airports, making it the first LCC to enter the Miyazaki market. With its abundance of tourism resources, Kyushu has attracted many LCCs. When the flights begin this August, LCCs will have become active in all of the prefectures of Kyushu. Peach will make seven weekly round-trips starting from Aug. 28, and one-way tickets are expected to be priced between ¥5,000 and ¥20,000. Source: Nishinippon Shimbun 4/7
