Pietro Shifts to Environmentally Friendly Packaging

Fukuoka-based Pietro Co. Ltd. has announced the development of bottles made of plant-based materials. As part of the brand’s carbon-neutral effort, salad oil dressing products shipped out after Apr. 1 will use bottles made of sugarcane-based materials. Each bottle contributes to the reduction of CO2 emission by 12%. Pietro’s ‘Ouchi Pasta’ sauce series will also shift to more environmentally-friendly packages from June.
