Dec. 9, The Nishinippon Railroad Company began using pink striped Nishitetsu buses to help passengers more easily identify buses traveling along Watanabe-dori between Tenjin and Ohashi. The striped buses also include a “W” on the front and side of the bus (denoting Watanabe-dori). The new design will act as a trial and if there is positive feedback the company will consider color coordinating other lines.
