The Nishi-Nippon Railroad Co., Nippo Corporation and Sumitomo Realty & Development Co. will begin construction on Kyushu’s highest condominium in Island City, Higashi-ku in February. Provisionally titled the “Shoyo High Tower Mansion Project”, the 45-storey condo will stand at 149m tall, topping the nearby 145m tall “Island Tower Sky Club” skyscraper. The new condo’s triangular design achieves 88% corner rooms, and all rooms will have views of central Fukuoka, Hakata Bay and Genkainada.
