Possibility of Spliting Fukuoka’s FINA Tounrament Schedule Raised

FINA is reportedly considering relocating some of the competitions of the 19th FINA World Championships. A source revealed that the association is seeking plans with the reduced financial burden for the host city of Fukuoka, reflecting the unforeseen impact of the new coronavirus pandemic. The venue for swimming competitions of the Tokyo Olympics (Tokyo Aquatics Centre) has been named as a possible venue.
